Biography
Rashed Ghanem is a young Lebanese kart racer and an aspiring F1 driver.
With an intense passion for Motorsports and the desire to compete, Rashed kick-started his amateur racing career in 2011 at the young age of nine.Gradually moving up the age groups, he added several honors to his resume, including a Vice Champion finish in the 2015 Rotax Max Challenge Junior Championship,and the 2016 X30 Junior Championship earning him a place in the Le Mans X30 World Finals.
Rashed would go on to have an extraordinary season in 2017, winning all five rounds of the X30 Senior Championship which qualified him for the Le Mans X30 World Finals for the second year in a row, as well as competing in the European X30 race which took place in Salbris and Wackersdorf. In addition, he completed the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) Young Driver Training Program, and took part in his very first F4 testing session with Double R Racing.
After going head to head with European and World champions in Dubai’s 2018 O Plate Race and finishing in the top ten, Rashed is set to capitalize on his snowballed momentum and continue honing his craft while competing in the Lebanese X30 Senior Championship, the X30 Euro Championship, the UK S1 Championship, as well as attending the UK PFI Club’s events and other F4 testing sessions.
